WELCOME TO JPR LANDSCAPING

“Quality and friendly local services you can rely on.”

From grass roots to elaborate designs the choice is yours. We specialize in tarmac, block paving, fencing, water features and beautiful Indian stone. Always installed to the same high standard, domestic, commercial, or construction, our experienced and fully qualified landscapers are there for you from design to completion.

We always recommend a garden survey as this is an integral part of the design process. The survey will usually take between 1 to 2 hours depending on the size of the plot and will include accurate measurements to complete a detailed scale drawing. Photographs of the site to make a visual record of any particular issues such as drainage problems. If the project is to include a planting plan, soil samples are also taken to allow a full analysis of the soil in order to determine the best plants for your design. A scale plan of your garden will then be produced to give you the first glimpse of what your new garden will look like. Once you are 100% happy with the design we will show you a series of brochures so that you can choose the materials you require.

Block Paving

Block Paving

Pictures speak louder than words so just take a look at our portfolio of completed projects to see some of the beautiful block paving designs that we have completed.

Driveway block paving is the most popular not only because it is cost effective and low maintenance but if the block does get damaged it can be taken up and replaced.

Indian Stone

Indian Stone

If you want more of a traditional look than standard driveway block paving then another option is to use Indian Stone. More expensive than traditional paving but the finish speaks for itself. Indian Stone is available in different sizes and colours. Our sample photographs shows a small selection of completed projects.

Gravel

Gravel

Gravel can be incorporated into any existing design or new landscape and is the quickest and cheapest option. We always recommend installing a good quality geotextile membrane (sheeting) under the gravel to help control weed growth.

Tarmac and Patterned Concrete

Tarmac and Patterned Concrete

With an extensive range of colours and designs tarmac and patterned concrete can be installed to create an impressive look and finish to your drive. The photographs shown are some examples of the projects that we have completed over recent months.

Heavy Duty Paving Slabs and Paths

Heavy Duty Paving Slabs and Paths

Heavy duty paving slabs can be installed to drive areas as an alternative to block paving. We always recommend a minimum slab depth of 50mm for drives where vehicles will be parked and driven on to.

Fencing, Security Posts and Bollards

Fencing, Security Posts and Bollards

We can install fencing for both residential and commercial clients, ranging from decorative garden fencing to metal security fencing. We can now supply and install a range of driveway security posts and security bollards to safely secure your car, caravan or boat.

Concrete Garage Bases

Concrete Garage Bases

Our team is fully trained in the installation of concrete pads for car parking and bases for garage areas. This involves:

  • Digging the area out to the required depth
  • Installing and compacting hardcore to form a solid base
  • Building a shutter frame to be concreted
  • Installing a damp proof membrane
  • Installing reinforcing mesh over the entire area
  • Adding concrete brought in as a mini mix
  • Screeding out the wet concrete to the correct levels
  • Brick, Block and Sleeper Retaining Walls

If your garden is not flat, it is likely that you will require some form of retaining wall to tier the garden into different levels. A tiered garden adds a new dimension to the garden and immediately adds interest. The type of retaining wall depends on the amount and type of material to be retained and your choice of materials to be used. Examples of walls we have completed can be found in the attached photographs.

Brick Walls

Brick Walls

Our bricklayers have over 10 years experience and can build retaining and decorative walls. Brick walls can be single brick (4″) or double brick (9″) depending on the strength required. Single brick walls will usually be topped with coping stone and double brick walls will usually be topped with header bricks to add strength. Walls can be straight or curved walls and steps can be built into the wall where required.
Sample bricks are readily available and we will always make sure that the wall matches your house, the surroundings, and the design of the new garden.

Wrought Iron Gates and Railings

Wrought Iron Gates and Railings

We supply and fit a large range of wrought iron gates and railings. Wrought iron gates are a lot more expensive than traditional timber gates. There are a wide range of widths, heights and decorative finishes to choose from to fit the available gap or alternatively gates can be made to your own custom size. All wrought iron gates and railings are made to measure.
